🛍️ Job Description: Store Assistant (Restaurant)Position OverviewThe Store Assistant supports the restaurant’s daily operations by managing inventory, assisting with procurement, and ensuring smooth coordination between suppliers, kitchen, and service teams. This role is essential for maintaining efficiency, hygiene, and consistency in a premium dining environment.

• Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in receiving, checking, and organizing deliveries of food, beverages, and supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movement and update inventory systems.
• Ensure proper storage of ingredients, following hygiene and safety standards.
• Support the Storekeeper/Manager in monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
• Label, arrange, and rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of ingredients and equipment.
• Help in preparing purchase requisitions and liaising with suppliers when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in storage areas, cold rooms, and dry stores.
• Skills & QualificationsBasic knowledge of food handling and storage practices.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Prior experience in hospitality or restaurant inventory management is an advantage.
