Lathe Machine Operator

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Lathe Machine Operator to operate and maintain lathe machines for manufacturing precision components. The candidate should be able to read drawings, set up machines, and ensure quality output.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate conventional / CNC lathe machines as per job requirements
• Read and understand engineering drawings and specifications
• Set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces on the lathe machine
• Perform turning, facing, threading, drilling, and boring operations
• Measure components using vernier caliper, micrometer, and gauges
• Ensure accuracy and quality of finished products
• Maintain machine cleanliness and perform basic maintenance
• Follow safety rules and workplace standards
• Report machine issues or defects to the supervisor

Requirements:

• ITI / Diploma in Machinist or relevant field preferred
• Minimum ___ years of experience as a Lathe Machine Operator
• Knowledge of tools, cutting speeds, and feeds
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Attention to detail and quality consciousness
