Job Description (JD): Civil Site Supervisor

Location: Gorakhpur

Department: Civil Projects

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Civil Site Supervisor to manage and supervise site activities for civil works, including Drain, Duct, Precast, and Roadwork projects. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day site execution, manpower supervision, quality control, and coordination to ensure timely and safe project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and execute civil works related to drain, duct, precast elements, and road construction.

Manage daily site activities, labor deployment, and subcontractors.

Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and vendors for smooth execution.

Check levels, alignments, measurements, and quality of work at site.

Maintain daily progress reports, material consumption records, and site registers.

Ensure proper curing, shuttering, reinforcement, and precast installation practices.

Identify site issues and report to senior management with corrective actions.

Enforce safety rules and maintain a clean and organized site.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of Drain, Duct, Precast, and Roadwork execution.

Ability to read and understand drawings and BOQs.

Experience in shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, and finishing works.

Basic knowledge of measurement and billing support.

Good coordination and team-handling skills.

Awareness of site safety norms.

Experience & Qualification:

Experience: 3–7 years in civil site supervision (Drain/Duct/Precast/Road projects).

Qualification: Diploma or ITI in Civil Engineering (Bachelor’s degree preferred).

Reporting To: Site Engineer / Project Manager
