Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and support the organization’s financial health. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and assisting with budgeting and audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards
• Support internal and external audits
• Process payroll and maintain payroll records (if applicable)
• Monitor expenses and analyze financial data
• Maintain general ledger and journal entries

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience as an Accountant (2+ years preferred)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
