Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Recordkeeping:
  • BUSY Accounting Software
  • Knowledge of GST
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Record and process financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting principles.
  • Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Accounts Management:
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing and invoicing.
  • Compliance & Taxation:
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns (sales tax, corporate income tax, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards (GAAP, IFRS, etc.).
  • Maintain financial records in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Internal Controls:
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Assist in the year-end audit process and provide documentation as required.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, HR, and sales) to ensure proper financial management.
  • Respond to inquiries from management regarding financial data and performance.
