We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage financial records accurately. The Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial integrity of the company through meticulous record-keeping, financial analysis, and reporting.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Record Maintenance: Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including but not limited to ledgers, journals, and accounting software entries.
2. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) on a regular basis.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support decision-making processes.
4. Accounts Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and other financial accounts regularly to ensure accuracy.
5. Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Stay updated on tax laws and changes.
6. Auditing: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
7. Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis, highlighting trends, costs, revenues, and opportunities for improvement.
8. Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements in accounting systems, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
9. Advisory Role: Provide financial advice, support, and guidance to management based on sound analysis and interpretation of financial data.
10. Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification preferred.
2. Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
3. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, etc.) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory standards.
5. Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
6. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage deadlines effectively.
7. Good communication skills to collaborate with various teams and present financial information clearly.
8. Ethical conduct and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
