Hostel Warden

A hostel warden is responsible for the overall administration, safety, and welfare of residents, ensuring adherence to rules and maintaining discipline. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administration & Management: Handling room allotments, managing student records, ensuring proper maintenance of property, and supervising staff (mess, security, cleaners).
• Discipline & Security: Enforcing hostel rules, managing entry/exit logs (especially for night/out-passes), handling cases of ragging or misbehavior, and ensuring security.
• Student Welfare & Health: Acting as a local guardian, supporting emotional well-being, arranging first aid or medical assistance during sickness, and maintaining hygiene standards.
• Mess Supervision: Monitoring the quality, hygiene, and timely serving of food in the mess.
• Emergency Response: Being available on-call, managing emergencies, and reporting incidents to higher authorities.
