Molding Machine Operator

The Plastic Injection Molding Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts as per production targets and quality standards. The role includes machine operation, basic troubleshooting, quality inspection, and maintaining workplace safety.

• Key ResponsibilitiesOperate injection molding machines as per standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Load raw materials and ensure proper material feeding.
• Monitor machine parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time).
• Inspect molded parts for defects such as short shot, flash, burn marks, shrinkage, etc.
• Perform trimming, finishing, and packing of parts.
• Maintain production records (cycle time, rejection, downtime).
• Inform supervisor/technician in case of machine malfunction.
• Maintain cleanliness and 5S on the shop floor.
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear PPE.
