Pharmacist

We are looking for a qualified and customer-focused Pharmacist to join our modern retail pharmacy. The pharmacist will be responsible for accurate dispensing of medicines, patient counselling, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispense prescription and OTC medicines accurately

Verify prescriptions and check for drug interactions

Counsel customers on dosage, usage, side effects, and precautions

Suggest cost-effective substitute medicines when appropriate

Manage inventory, expiry tracking, and proper storage of medicines

Maintain records as per Drugs & Cosmetics Act

Assist customers with nutraceuticals, wellness, and healthcare products

Coordinate with doctors and healthcare professionals when required

Eligibility & Requirements:

D.Pharm / B.Pharm qualification

Valid State Pharmacy Council registration

Experience in retail pharmacy preferred (freshers can apply)

Good communication and customer-handling skills
