Job Description

Position Summary

The Sales Executive/Manager for Banquet & Hotel Sales is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of banquet spaces, rooms, events, conferences, weddings, and corporate packages. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with clients, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction to achieve sales targets.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Sales & Business DevelopmentIdentify and target potential clients for events, corporate bookings, weddings, social gatherings, conferences, etc.
  • Conduct sales calls, customer visits, and presentations to promote hotel and banquet facilities.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets across banquet and room categories.
  • Maintain an active customer database and develop new business leads.
  • 2. Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, wedding planners, and travel agencies.
  • Handle inquiries, prepare quotations, and negotiate pricing to close deals.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on leads, proposals, and confirmations.
  • Provide personalized support throughout the event planning process.
  • 3. Event Coordination
  • SupportCoordinate with banquet operations, F&B, front office, and housekeeping to ensure smooth execution of events.
  • Arrange client site inspections, menu tastings, and event walkthroughs.
  • Communicate event details clearly to internal teams through BEOs (Banquet Event Orders).
  • 4. Reporting & Administration
  • Prepare daily sales reports, weekly updates, and sales forecasts.
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts, agreements, and payments.
  • Assist in creating promotional packages and sales strategies with management.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in hotel sales, banquet sales, event sales, or hospitality operations.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Customer-centric approach with the ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Ability to work under pressure and achieve sales targets.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, CRM software, and hotel sales systems.
