Tally Accountant

Job Description: Accountant (Tally Specialist – Sales & Purchase Management)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with strong expertise in Tally ERP to manage day-to-day accounting operations, specifically focusing on sales and purchase transactions. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate bookkeeping, compliance with accounting standards, and smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• 📊 Accounting & Bookkeeping
• Record and maintain all financial transactions in Tally ERP.
• Prepare and reconcile sales and purchase ledgers.
• Ensure timely posting of invoices, receipts, and payments.
• 💼 Sales & Purchase Management
• Handle vendor bills, purchase orders, and supplier payments.
• Manage customer invoices, receipts, and outstanding balances.
• Monitor credit/debit notes and ensure proper documentation.
• 📑 Compliance & Reporting
• Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
• Generate monthly/quarterly financial reports.
• Assist in audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• 🔍 Financial Control
• Maintain accurate records of stock, sales, and purchases.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues.
• Support management with financial insights for decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Tally ERP (mandatory).
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• 1 years of experience in accounting, preferably in sales/purchase management.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
