We are looking for a creative, politically savvy Video Editor who understands the pulse of the Indian electorate and can translate complex political ideas into compelling visual content.

The RoleAs a Political Video Editor, you won't just be cutting clips; you will be crafting arguments. You will be responsible for producing high-quality video content ranging from rapid-response social media reels to long-form documentary-style features. You must have a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of Indian politics, and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a high-stakes environment.

• Key Responsibilities
• Storytelling & Narrative: Transform raw footage, archival material, and interviews into persuasive stories that align with our strategic goals.
• Rapid Response: Edit and deliver short-form content (Reels, Shorts, Twitter clips) within hours of major political events or breaking news.
• Motion Graphics: Create engaging lower-thirds, subtitles, data visualizations, and maps to make complex information digestible.
• Sound Design: Curate impactful background scores and perform clean audio editing to ensure high production value.
• Archival Research: Sourcing relevant historical footage and news clips to provide context to current political narratives.
• Quality Control: Ensure all content meets brand guidelines, technical specifications, and legal/ethical standards.
• Requirements & QualificationsTechnical Proficiency: Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro is a must. Proficiency in After Effects (for motion graphics) and Photoshop is highly preferred.
• Political Literacy: A strong understanding of the Indian political landscape, including key players, parties, and regional nuances.
• Experience: 2–4 years of experience in video editing, preferably with a news agency, political campaign, or digital media house.
• Speed & Agility: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where news cycles move quickly.

Attention to Detail: Precision in subtitling (especially in regional languages) and a "eagle eye" for continuity and pacing.
