Sales Officer

• Customer acquisition: Source new customers for banking products like Current Account & Savings Account (CASA), demat accounts, and credit cards.
• Sales and cross-selling: Sell and cross-sell a range of banking and third-party financial products, including insurance, fixed deposits, and other loans.
• Lead generation: Generate leads through methods such as cold calling, networking, referrals, e-mailing, and interacting with branch walk-ins.
• Sales target achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets set by the bank.
• Customer relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, resolving their queries and ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Documentation and compliance: Assist with loan and account applications, ensure all necessary documentation is complete, and adhere strictly to banking norms and KYC requirements.
• Market analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and provide market feedback to supervisors.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate daily reports of activities, sales, and customer interactions. 

Key skills and qualifications

• Education: A graduate degree is typically required, with some positions potentially preferring postgraduates.
• Experience: Entry-level (fresher) and experienced candidates are often considered, with a preference for candidates with sales experience.
• Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills are crucial. A strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and in a team are essential.
• Other requirements: Depending on the specific role, a two-wheeler and a valid driving license may be preferred for fieldwork.
