Planedu Consultants & Learning Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Academic Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping students achieve their academic and career goals. This role involves providing guidance and support to students regarding their academic plans, career options, and personal development. The Academic Counsellor will work closely with students, parents, and faculty to foster a positive learning environment and help students navigate their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Student Guidance: Offer personalized academic and career advice to students, helping them set and achieve their educational goals.
• Counseling Sessions: Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address academic challenges, personal issues, and career planning.
• Program Information: Provide detailed information about academic programs, courses, and career paths to students and parents.
• Assessment: Evaluate students' academic performance and provide feedback to help them improve their study skills and performance.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions, student progress, and recommendations.
• Collaboration: Work with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student development and resolve academic or behavioral issues.
• Workshops and Seminars: Organize and facilitate workshops and seminars on study skills, career planning, and other relevant topics.
• Follow-Up: Monitor student progress and follow up on counseling outcomes to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree & Masters degree
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capability to build rapport with students and parents.
• Attributes: Empathetic, patient, and committed to student success.

Additional Information:

• Work Environment: The position is office-based with a standard work schedule from Monday to Saturday. Flexibility in working hours between 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM as needed.
