Job Description
- Handle the complete accounting cycle, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and finalization of accounts.
- Perform extensive reconciliation of bank accounts, vendor accounts, customer ledgers, GST, and TDS records to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and review financial statements such as Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow statements.
- Ensure timely and accurate statutory compliances including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable regulations.
- Manage filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and regular reconciliation of returns with books of accounts.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits and provide required documentation.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure accuracy in financial data and reporting.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable and ensure timely closures and reconciliations.
- Support management with financial reports, analysis, MIS, and reconciliation summaries as required.
- Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA / CMA / MBA Finance preferred).
- Proven experience in handling end-to-end accounting, with strong exposure to reconciliation processes.
- Hands-on experience in bank reconciliation, GST reconciliation, vendor/customer reconciliation, and TDS reconciliation.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally, Zoho, etc.) and MS Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
