Accountant

Job Summary

The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling day-to-day accounting activities, and ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain books of accounts and daily accounting entries.

Handle accounts payable and receivable.

Prepare bank reconciliation statements.

Manage GST, TDS, and basic tax compliance.

Prepare invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents.

Assist in preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.

Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and banks.

Maintain proper documentation and records.

Requirements

B.Com or equivalent qualification.

Experience as an Accountant or Accounts Executive preferred.

Knowledge of accounting software (Tally/ERP).

Basic understanding of GST and taxation.

Good knowledge of MS Excel.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Skills

Payroll handling experience.

Audit support experience.

Experience in manufacturing or service industry.
