Accounts and Finance Executive

Role & responsibilities

1\. Payment Collection \& Settlement Tracking

Track settlements from:

E-Commerce: Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Ajio, Myntra

Quick-Commerce: Zepto, Blinkit, Instamart

D2C Gateways: Razorpay, Delhivery

Offline stores payments tracking

Monitor settlement cycles, identify delays, and escalate missing payments.

Maintain A/R ageing and outstanding reports for all platforms.

2\. Monthly Sales Posting 

Post monthly sales data into ERP (Tally/Zoho/SAP).

Validate sales against order reports, invoices, and platform dashboards.

Reconcile revenue, GST, and TCS/TDS entries for accurate month-end financials.

Coordinate with finance to ensure all sales entries align with P\&L.

3\. Order-Level \& Settlement-Level Reconciliation

Reconcile:

Delivered, returned, cancelled, and RTO orders

Commissions, shipping fees, penalties, and adjustments

Marketplace vs. ERP sales

Q-commerce PO vs. GRN vs. settlement

Identify and resolve mismatches with operations or account managers.

4\. Claims \& Dispute Management

Raise claims for:

Incorrect fees or excess deductions

Lost/damaged shipments

Short payments

Quick-commerce shortages

Track claim status and maintain documentation until closure.

5\. Follow-Up for Overdue Invoices

 Follow up directly with Q-commerce buyers, B2B clients, and institutional partners for overdue invoices.

Share statement of accounts (SOA) and reminders for outstanding payments.

Coordinate with sales/account managers for escalations.

Maintain a log of follow-ups and expected payment dates.

6\. Reporting \& Analysis

Prepare weekly/monthly reports:

Marketplace \& Q-commerce outstanding

Claims recovery status

Deduction analysis

Ageing summary \& overdue list

Provide reconciled data for month-end closing.

 7\. Cross-Functional Coordination

Collaborate with:

Warehouse for shortage/damage confirmations

E-commerce account managers for discrepancies

Support internal \& external audits.

**Required Skills**

Strong understanding of E-commerce \& Q-commerce financial structures

Advanced Excel: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query

Knowledge of accounting \& A/R principles

Experience with ERPs like Tally, Busy, Logic

Strong reconciliation and analytical ability

Good communication for client follow-ups

**Qualification \& Experience**

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)

2–6 years of experience in A/R, E-commerce Finance, Marketplace/Quick-Commerce reconciliation

Experience in client follow-up \& invoice recovery preferred
