Responsibilities include the preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and Cash Flow Statements. This includes handling GST reconciliations (GSTR-2A/2B vs. Purchase Register) and addressing any discrepancies. Furthermore, the role involves ensuring compliance with the Companies Act, 2013, Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), and Professional Tax regulations. The manager will also represent the company in tax assessments and respond to notices from tax authorities.
Export Documentation & ICEGATE Operations
Given the company's export activities, the manager will handle all financial aspects of international trade. This includes the meticulous preparation and verification of export documentation such as Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Shipping Bills, and Bills of Lading. The candidate must possess hands-on experience with the ICEGATE (Indian Customs Electronic Data Interchange Gateway) portal for tracking shipping bills, managing e-Sanchit uploads, and ensuring the timely realization of export incentives like RoDTEP (Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products) and Duty Drawback. Additionally, the role requires managing Foreign Inward Remittance Certificates (FIRC), Bank Realization Certificates (e-BRC), and ensuring compliance with Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) guidelines and Reserve Bank of India (RBI) regulations regarding export proceeds.
Team Leadership & Process Improvement
The Manager of Accounts will lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous learning. The role involves reviewing existing financial processes and implementing robust internal controls to mitigate risks and prevent fraud.
