AutoCAD Designer

Job Summary:The AutoCAD Designer is responsible for preparing detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, layouts, and designs using AutoCAD software in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and company guidelines. The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and collaboration with engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver high-quality design outputs.

• Key Responsibilities:Create and modify detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and related design software.
• Interpret sketches, technical specifications, and design inputs to produce accurate working drawings.
• Prepare layouts, sections, elevations, and detailed drawings for engineering or architectural projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure design accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Update and maintain drawing records, revisions, and documentation.
• Ensure all designs adhere to company standards, client specifications, and applicable codes.
• Perform site measurements or data collection when required.
• Assist in design reviews, checking drawings for quality control and technical accuracy.
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, or contractors for technical clarifications.
• Support project documentation, printing, and submission as per deadlines.
• Qualifications and Skills:Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering (as applicable).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D); knowledge of Revit, SolidWorks, or SketchUp is an advantage.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in design and drafting.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, standards, and design practices.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
