AutoCAD Draughtsman

• Core AutoCAD & Drafting Responsibilities
• Prepare accurate 2D & 3D drawings using AutoCAD as per project requirements.
• Develop architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC drawings (as applicable).
• Convert concept designs, sketches, and site measurements into detailed technical drawings.
• Prepare shop drawings, working drawings, layout plans, sections, and elevations.
• Revise and update drawings based on engineer/architect/client feedback.
• Maintain proper drawing standards, layers, scales, and annotations.
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards, project specifications, and local codes.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure version control.

Graphics & Visualization Responsibilities

Create presentation drawings, layouts, and visual graphics for client submission

Develop 2D/3D renderings, walkthrough views, and perspective views using graphic tools.

Prepare brochures, banners, posters, presentation boards, and marketing visuals related to projects.

Enhance drawings using Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, SketchUp, or similar tools

Apply color schemes, textures, fonts, and branding elements to technical drawings

Prepare high-quality visuals for tenders, approvals, and client meetings.

Coordination & Communication

Coordinate with architects, engineers, site supervisors, and project managers.

Support site teams by providing clarifications and revised drawings as required

Assist in as-built drawings after project completion

Participate in internal design reviews and coordination meetings

Quality Control & Documentation

Check drawings for accuracy, dimensional correctness, and constructability.

Ensure timely submission of drawings as per project schedules.

Maintain proper digital filing, backups, and document control.

Protect company data and ensure confidentiality of drawings

Additional Responsibilities

Stay updated with latest AutoCAD features and graphic design trends

Asist in creating company profiles, templates, and standard drawing formats

Support tender documentation and visual proposal preparation.

Follow company policies, safety norms, and quality procedures

Required Skills & Knowledge

Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D).

Knowledge of graphic software: Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, SketchUp, etc.
