Automobile Quality Assurance Executive

Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Executive is responsible for ensuring that all products and processes meet the company’s quality standards and customer requirements. The role involves inspection, process monitoring, documentation, and continuous improvement to ensure defect-free output and high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process work, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and checklists
• Monitor production and finishing processes to identify defects or deviations
• Record inspection results, prepare quality reports, and maintain proper documentation
• Coordinate with production, finishing, and dispatch teams to resolve quality issues
• Identify root causes of defects and suggest corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Ensure adherence to customer specifications, drawings, and finish requirements
• Conduct final inspections before dispatch and approve products for delivery
• Support internal audits and assist in ISO or other quality system compliance (if applicable)
• Train shop-floor staff on quality standards and inspection methods
• Handle customer complaints related to quality and assist in resolution

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of quality control and inspection methods

• Good understanding of manufacturing / surface finishing / refurbishing processes
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read specifications, drawings, and finish requirements
• Good documentation and reporting skills
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word)
• Strong communication and coordination skills
