Bandsaw Operator

Role: Operate bandsaw machine to cut metal as per required size and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Set cutting parameters (speed, feed, blade tension)

Read drawings/work orders and cut material accordingly

Ensure accuracy and minimize wastage

Check blade condition and replace when needed

Maintain production records and follow safety practices

Requirements:

ITI/Diploma or relevant experience

1–3 years in bandsaw operation (preferred)

Basic knowledge of cutting parameters and measuring tools

Ability to read basic drawings

KPIs: Accuracy, output, machine uptime, material utilization, safety compliance
