Bar Manager – Mexican Themed Bar

Position: Bar Manager

Experience Required: 6–7 years in bar operations, preferably in Mexican or Latin-themed bars/restaurants.

Role OverviewWe are looking for a dynamic and culturally aware Bar Manager to lead the operations of our Mexican-themed bar. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of Mexican beverages, cocktails, spirits, and bar culture. They will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining authentic service standards, and delivering an outstanding guest experience.

• Key ResponsibilitiesOperational ManagementOversee complete bar operations, staff scheduling, and daily service flow.
• Ensure the bar maintains authentic Mexican ambience, service style, and drink quality.
• Manage inventory, stock levels, and beverage ordering (especially tequila, mezcal, Mexican spirits & ingredients).
• Monitor hygiene, sanitation, and compliance with FSSAI & excise regulations.
• Maintain bar equipment and ensure timely repairs.
• Menu & Beverage DevelopmentCollaborate with mixologists to create and update Mexican-inspired cocktail menus.
• Introduce seasonal cocktails (e.g., margaritas, mezcal drinks, palomas, micheladas).
• Ensure consistency and quality across all beverages.
• Team LeadershipTrain bartenders and servers on Mexican drink culture, recipes, and guest service.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and skill-building sessions.
• Motivate staff to maintain a positive, energetic, and engaging environment.
• Customer ServiceEnsure exceptional guest experience through personalized service and cultural authenticity.
• Address customer feedback and resolve complaints professionally.
• Promote signature drinks and special offers.
• Financial & Sales ResponsibilitiesAnalyze sales, prepare reports, and manage bar budgets.
• Control costs, reduce wastage, and optimize profitability.
• Plan promotions, events, and theme nights to boost revenue (e.g., Taco Tuesdays, Mezcal Nights).
• Skills & QualificationsStrong experience in bar management (Mexican bar experience preferred).
• Deep knowledge of tequila, mezcal, Mexican beer, and traditional cocktails.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments with flexible shifts.
• Certification in bartending or hospitality management (preferred).
