Barista

Job Summary:

A Barista's job involves crafting coffee/tea drinks, ensuring excellent customer service (taking orders, recommendations), operating/maintaining equipment, handling transactions, and keeping the cafe clean, stocked, and organized, requiring skills in speed, detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.  preparation and making of a variety of continental dishes while ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation. The role supports in day-to-day kitchen operations and helps maintain consistency and efficiency in the section.

Key Responsibilities:

• Beverage Preparation: Making espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, teas, smoothies following recipes, grinding beans, steaming milk, and ensuring quality.
• Customer Service: Greeting customers, explaining menu items, taking orders accurately, processing payments, and building rapport.
• Operations: Operating espresso machines, grinders, blenders; managing inventory (restocking cups, beans); packaging food/drinks.
• Cleanliness & Maintenance: Sanitizing workstations, equipment, dining areas, and reporting maintenance issues.
• Teamwork: Collaborating with other baristas, communicating with managers, and learning new techniques.
