Beverage Specialist

Job Title: Barista 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Barista to join our kitchen team. The Barista will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with consistency and accuracy for delivery and takeaway orders. This role requires strong focus on speed, quality, and hygiene, as customer interaction will primarily be through online platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty beverages according to standardized recipes.

Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and packaging for delivery and takeaway.

Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other café equipment.

Manage beverage prep area with strict adherence to cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Accurately read and execute orders received from delivery platforms.

Label and pack beverages securely for delivery to avoid spills or damage.

Maintain stock of coffee beans, milk, syrups, packaging materials, and other essentials.

Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to the supervisor/manager.

Follow health, safety, and food hygiene guidelines at all times.

Support kitchen team with general duties when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous barista or café experience preferred; freshers with training also considered.

Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation.

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency.

Good time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours.

Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
