JOB TITLE: Business Development Associate (B2B Sales)

Hamelin is a premium, design-led, Made-in-India brand creating thoughtfully crafted accessories, stationery, and lifestyle products. We work with some of India’s and the world’s most respected companies for corporate gifting, employee onboarding, events, and festive gifting.
Our B2B business is a fast-growing vertical, and we’re now building a dedicated team to scale it.
Role Overview:
As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for driving Hamelin’s B2B sales growth across corporate gifting, partnerships, and bulk orders.
This role is not about cold calling random leads. It is about building relationships, pitching premium products, closing meaningful deals, and growing long-term corporate accounts.
You will work closely with the founder, marketing team, and operations to convert inbound leads and generate new business from corporates, startups, HR teams, marketing teams, and event agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Lead Generation
- Handle inbound B2B leads from the website, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and marketing campaigns
- Identify and reach out to potential corporate clients (HR, Admin, Marketing, Procurement, Event teams)
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified corporate prospects
Pitching & Closing
- Understand client needs and recommend the right Hamelin products
- Create quotes, proposals, and custom gift solutions
- Follow up consistently to move deals forward and close orders
- Negotiate pricing, timelines, and order details in coordination with the founder
Account Management
- Manage existing B2B clients and encourage repeat orders
- Ensure smooth coordination between client, production, and logistics
- Maintain professional, long-term relationships with corporate buyers
Tracking & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of leads, deals, and revenue in CRM or tracking sheets
- Track conversion rates, deal sizes, and sales performance
- Provide regular updates on pipeline and forecasts
Market & Product Feedback
- Share customer insights with the marketing and product teams
- Help identify new gifting trends, price points, and opportunities
- Who We’re Looking ForSomeone who enjoys selling premium, design-led products, not commodities
- Comfortable speaking to corporate clients and decision-makers
- Can communicate confidently over email, WhatsApp, and calls
- Is persistent, organised, and good at follow-ups
- Enjoys building relationships, not just closing one-time deals
Skills & Experience
- 1–4 years experience in B2B sales, partnerships, corporate sales, or client servicing
- Strong written and spoken English
- Experience with CRM, Excel, or sales tracking tools
- Understanding of sales cycles, negotiation, and closing
- Experience in corporate gifting, branding, events, HR sales, or D2C brands is a big plus
