Job Title: Business Process Coordinator

Department: Operations / Business Excellence

Reports To: Business Process Manager / Operations Head


Job Summary:

The Business Process Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, documenting, and improving business processes across departments. The role ensures that all processes are aligned with company objectives, comply with standards, and operate efficiently to enhance productivity and quality.


Key Roles and Responsibilities:



Process Management & Documentation



Map, document, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) across departments.



Maintain process flow charts, guidelines, and checklists.



Ensure process documentation is current, accurate, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.





Process Improvement



Identify inefficiencies and propose process optimization strategies.



Support automation initiatives and digital workflow transformations.



Assist in implementing continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).





Coordination & Communication



Act as a liaison between departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication.



Coordinate process audits, reviews, and internal compliance checks.



Track progress of process improvement initiatives and report status to management.





Performance Monitoring



Develop and maintain process performance indicators (KPIs).



Analyze data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.



Prepare regular reports and dashboards for management review.





Training & Support



Assist teams in understanding and adopting updated processes.



Conduct training sessions and awareness programs on process standards.



Provide operational support during implementation of new procedures or tools.






Skills & Competencies Required:



Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.



Excellent communication and coordination abilities.



Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).



Knowledge of process improvement methodologies.



Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.




Educational Qualifications:



Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.



Certification in Lean Six Sigma or Business Process Management (preferred).




Experience:



2–5 years of experience in process coordination, business operations, or quality management.
