Job Summary:

The Continental Commis 2 -- preparation and cooking of a variety of continental dishes while ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation. The role supports in day-to-day kitchen operations and helps maintain consistency and efficiency in the section.

Key Responsibilities:

• The preparation and cooking of continental dishes such as pasta, grills, sauces, soups, salads, and baked items, etc.
• Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation guidelines to maintain standardization.
• Ensure all raw materials and ingredients are properly measured, handled, and stored.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the workstation at all times in compliance with food safety standards.
• Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies as per FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
• Report shortages, maintenance issues, or safety concerns.
• Help in minimizing food waste and optimizing ingredient usage.
• Maintain professional behavior and teamwork within the kitchen.
