About the RoleThe Wealth & Capital Markets Operations Analyst will support end-to-end investment, trading, and post-trade operations across global financial products. The role involves handling customer support, back-office operations, corporate actions, settlement, taxation, and regulatory compliance while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to market regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Investment & Customer SupportHandle customer queries related to investments, trades, statements, settlements, fees, and portfolio discrepancies

• Support issues related to trade execution, failed orders, pricing differences, and settlement delays
• Assist with tax-related queries including capital gains, dividends, withholding taxes, and FTT
• Provide accurate and compliant communication across equities, ETFs, mutual funds, bonds, crypto, and managed products

2. Trade Lifecycle & Operations SupportSupport end-to-end trade lifecycle: order processing, execution verification, clearing, and settlement

• Perform securities and cash reconciliations and resolve breaks or mismatches
• Maintain accurate portfolio positions and transaction records
• Liaise with internal teams, custodians, brokers, and counterparties

3. Corporate Actions & Income ProcessingProcess mandatory and voluntary corporate actions (dividends, interest, splits, mergers, rights, spin-offs, delisting)

• Validate key dates, entitlement calculations, and portfolio updates
• Ensure accurate processing of corporate income events

4. Clearance, Settlement & Exception HandlingMonitor settlements and resolve trade, cash, and position breaks

• Handle SWIFT messages (MT 500–599) and settlement confirmations (where applicable)
• Investigate and resolve failed trades, broken positions, and reconciliation issues

5. Trading Operations & Market Event SupportSupport operations during market events such as sanctions, trading halts, delisting, and volatility

• Monitor unusual trading activities and support escalations
• Assist in maintaining trading system stability and incident documentation

6. Taxation & Compliance SupportProcess taxation activities including capital gains, dividends, FTT, and loss offsetting

• Ensure compliance with European regulatory frameworks (MiFID II, ESMA, tax regulations)
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and regulatory records
• Required Skills & QualificationsGood understanding of capital markets and wealth operations
• Knowledge of trade lifecycle, settlement, reconciliation, and corporate actions
• Exposure to taxation concepts (capital gains, dividends, FTT preferred)
• Familiarity with equities, ETFs, bonds, mutual funds, crypto, or managed products
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle time-sensitive and high-volume operations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Prior experience in brokerage, wealth management, or financial services operations is preferred
