Debt Resolution Specialist With Banking & Legal Knowledge

Job Description:

CZI Global Consulting is an international company specializing in debt and bankruptcy consulting. The company operates in Kazakhstan and Russia and has recently launched its first office in India.

We are looking for a highly experienced Debt Settlement Expert with deep expertise in auto loans and debt recovery processes in India.

The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of how auto lending works, how lenders recover debts, and what legal and practical options are available to clients facing default.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult clients with debt problems, with a strong focus on auto loans and secured lending
• Explain and manage the full debt recovery process for auto loans
• Negotiate with banks and NBFCs for settlements (OTS)
• Develop strategies to reduce client financial burden
• Handle cases related to repossession of vehicles
• Analyze each case and identify possible ways to delay, restructure, or resolve debt
• Advise clients on legal rights and possible actions against lenders
• Work closely with internal teams (sales, legal, operations)
• Monitor case progress and ensure effective resolution

Core Expertise Required (Critical):

• Deep and practical understanding of the auto loan lifecycle in India
• Clear knowledge of how repossession and recovery processes work in real cases
• Understanding of applicable laws and regulations governing loan recovery
• Ability to explain step-by-step what happens when a client defaults on an auto loan
• Knowledge of whether and how a client can legally delay repossession
• Understanding of legal options available to clients (including court actions, negotiations, and restructuring)
• Ability to assess if a client can retain the vehicle or extend its usage period

Requirements:

• Proven experience in debt settlement, banking, NBFC, or loan recovery
• Strong knowledge of auto loans, personal loans, and secured lending
• Understanding of debt recovery laws (including SARFAESI Act and related processes)
• Strong negotiation skills with financial institutions
• Analytical mindset and ability to work with complex financial situations
• Good communication and client-handling skills
• Ability to work with sensitive and high-risk financial cases
