Delivery Boy

Role summary

Pick up and deliver customer orders within defined timelines, ensure safe handling of products, complete doorstep handover smoothly, and represent the brand professionally during every customer interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Pick up orders from the warehouse or partner pickup point and deliver to customers as per route and priority.
• Ensure correct order handover using app-based verification (OTP, photo proof, signature as applicable).
• Handle apparel packages carefully to avoid damage, staining, creasing, or missing items.
• Maintain delivery timelines and adhere to route guidance using GPS/navigation.
• Support doorstep “Try & Buy” workflows if applicable (carry trial items, collect returnable items, follow process).
• Collect payments (cash/UPI) where applicable and ensure accurate reconciliation.
• Follow SOP for cancellations, returns, exchanges, and failed delivery attempts.
• Communicate proactively with customers for address clarification and delivery coordination.
• Maintain rider app hygiene: start/end shift, accept tasks, status updates, incident reporting.
• Maintain vehicle condition, fuel discipline, and basic daily checks (brakes, lights, tyres).
• Follow safety, traffic rules, and company conduct standards at all times.
