Job Description

  • Clinical DutiesPrepare patients for dental examinations and procedures
  • Assist the dentist during treatments (four-handed dentistry)
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
  • Take and develop dental X-rays (where licensed)
  • Prepare materials for impressions, fillings, and crowns
  • Suction and provide patient comfort during procedures
  • Administrative DutiesSchedule and confirm patient appointments
  • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
  • Handle billing, insurance claims, and payments
  • Manage inventory and order dental supplies
  • Patient Care & SafetyEducate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
  • Follow infection control and OSHA safety guidelines
  • Ensure a clean and organized clinical environment
  • Assist with emergency dental procedures if needed
