JD for Embedded & Electronics Engineer

1. Circuit Design & Development

* Design analog and digital circuits for embedded systems, including microcontroller-based applications

* Select components based on performance, cost, and availability

* Create schematics and PCB layouts using tools like Altium, Eagle, or KiCAD

2. Embedded Firmware Development

* Develop and debug firmware in C/C++ for microcontrollers (ARM Cortex, STM32, PIC, etc.)Integrate peripherals such as UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, PWM, and GPIO)

* Optimize code for performance, power efficiency, and memory usage

3. System Integration & Testing

* Conduct functional testing, validation, and debugging of hardware prototypes

* Collaborate with software and mechanical teams to ensure seamless integration

* Use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other lab tools for diagnostics

4. Documentation & Compliance

* Prepare design documentation, BOMs, test reports, and revision histories

* Ensure designs comply with relevant standards (EMI/EMC, RoHS, CE, etc.)

* Support certification processes and regulatory submissions

5. Product Lifecycle Support

* Assist in DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFT (Design for Testability)

* Support production teams during pilot runs and mass manufacturing

* Troubleshoot field issues and propose design improvements

6. Project Collaboration & Communication

* Work closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, QA, and vendors

* Participate in design reviews and provide technical feedback

* Maintain clear communication with stakeholders on timelines and risks

7. Preferred Skills & Tools

* C/C++, RTOS (FreeRTOS), Assembly

* STM32, NXP, Microchip, TIUART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB

* Oscilloscope, Multimeter, JTAG, Logic Analyzer
