Fabrication Fitter

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and work from fabrication drawings, isometric drawings, and blueprints.
• Measure, cut, prepare, and fit pipes and structural components to required dimensions and tolerances.
• Align and fit piping and structural assemblies using welding, bolting, or tack welding techniques.
• Mark reference points and layout positions for structural and piping installation.
• Perform fitting, grinding, and preparation work before welding.
• Verify fit-up and alignment using measuring tools and instruments (levels, plumb bobs, tapes, squares, etc.).
• Collaborate with welders, fabricators, and engineers to ensure accuracy and compliance with design requirements.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Report material shortages, deviations, and quality issues to the supervisor.
