Fabrication Production Engineer

The Fabrication Cum Production Engineer will oversee the end-to-end process of manufacturing and fabrication, ensuring that products are produced efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This role combines hands-on fabrication expertise with production planning and process optimization responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Fabrication

• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models for fabrication.
• Plan and execute the fabrication of metal, composite, or mechanical components.
• Select appropriate materials and fabrication methods (welding, cutting, bending, assembly, machining).
• Ensure all fabricated components meet dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
• Conduct inspections and troubleshoot fabrication defects.

Production

• Plan, schedule, and monitor daily production activities to meet deadlines.
• Optimize production processes for efficiency, cost, and safety.
• Coordinate with the design and procurement teams to ensure material availability.
• Monitor machine performance and maintenance needs.
• Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Conduct quality checks and maintain production documentation.
• Participate in audits and assist in implementing corrective actions.

Team & Resource Management

• Supervise and guide production and fabrication staff.
• Allocate resources effectively to meet production targets.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and operators.
