Foreman

Job Title: ForemanDepartment: Operations / Construction / EngineeringReports To: Site Engineer / Project Engineer / Project ManagerJob Summary:The Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating on-site work activities to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved plans, quality standards, and project timelines.

• Key Responsibilities:Supervise daily site activities and ensure work is carried out as per drawings and instructions.
• Allocate work to technicians, laborers, and subcontractors.
• Monitor productivity and ensure optimal use of manpower and materials.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and site regulations.
• Maintain quality standards and conduct regular work inspections.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers and report daily progress.
• Identify and resolve on-site issues related to labor, materials, or execution.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and site cleanliness.
• Maintain daily work records and attendance of workers.
• Assist in material handling, storage, and usage control.
• Skills & Competencies:Strong leadership and team supervision skills
• Practical knowledge of construction methods and tools
• Ability to read basic drawings and work instructions
• Good communication and coordination abilities
• Awareness of safety practices and quality standards
• Qualifications:ITI / Diploma in relevant trade preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Foreman or Supervisor
• Experience in civil, structural, finishing, or MEP works is an advantage
• Working Conditions:Site-based role
