Job Title: General Duty Assistant (GDA)

Immediate joiners are preferred

• Key Responsibilities:Assist patients in activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, feeding, dressing, toileting, mobility, etc.).
• Support nurses in routine care and monitoring of patients.
• Help in shifting/transferring patients within the hospital (to diagnostic areas, wards, or operation theatres).
• Maintain patient hygiene and comfort by changing linens, cleaning beds, and ensuring the ward area is tidy.
• Provide assistance in measuring vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure (if trained).
• Assist during medical procedures under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness of medical equipment and ensure proper waste segregation and disposal as per hospital protocols.
• Ensure availability of patient care materials and report shortages promptly.
• Support nursing staff in maintaining records and documentation as required.
• Offer emotional support to patients and families to improve patient satisfaction and comfort.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards at all times.
