Housekeeping Staff

Job Title: Housekeeping Staff – Karting ArenaOverviewThe Housekeeping Staff is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the karting arena. This role ensures that all public areas, tracks, pits, restrooms, customer zones, and staff spaces meet cleanliness and safety standards to enhance guest experience and support smooth arena operations.

• Key ResponsibilitiesFacility CleaningClean and sanitize all public areas, including lobby, reception, spectator seating, waiting zones, and party rooms.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout the arena, especially high-traffic areas.
• Clean restrooms regularly and restock supplies (soap, tissue, hand towels).
• Empty trash bins and recycling containers around the facility and dispose of waste safely.
• Track & Pit Area MaintenanceSweep and clean pit lanes, kart staging areas, and track walkways to ensure debris-free surfaces.
• Assist with cleaning oil spills, rubber residue, or other hazards on or near the track (following safety procedures).
• Report any maintenance issues such as damaged barriers, leaks, or unsafe areas to the supervisor immediately.
• Guest & Event SupportPrepare and reset party rooms or event spaces, including wiping tables, arranging seating, and disposing of waste.
• Keep equipment storage, rental gear areas, and locker zones clean and organized.
• Assist with periodic deep-cleaning tasks (window cleaning, high-dusting, pressure washing, etc.).
• Health & Safety ComplianceFollow all safety and sanitation procedures required by the karting facility.
• Use cleaning chemicals responsibly and store them according to guidelines.
• Follow proper PPE requirements when working near track or workshop areas.
• General DutiesWork collaboratively with front-of-house and operations staff to maintain facility standards.
• Respond to cleaning emergencies or spills promptly.
• Perform other cleaning or organizational tasks as assigned by management.
• Skills & QualificationsPrevious housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (not mandatory).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Good physical stamina; ability to stand, lift, bend, and move for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and awareness of safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event days as required.
• Work EnvironmentIndoor/outdoor karting facility with high traffic, noise levels, and occasional exposure to fuel odors or cleaning chemicals.
• Role involves regular movement around track and pit areas.
