Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and persuasive Telesales Representative to join our sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating sales over the phone, maintaining customer relationships, and achieving set sales targets. You will play a key role in driving business growth by converting leads into loyal customers.
- Key Responsibilities:Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to promote products or services.
- Handle inbound sales inquiries and follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns.
- Explain product features, benefits, and pricing clearly to potential customers.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or services.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, sales, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to improve lead quality and conversion rates.
- Stay up to date with product knowledge, promotions, and company policies.
- Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business or marketing is an advantage.
- Proven experience in telesales, telemarketing, or customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong persuasive and negotiation abilities.
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to handle rejection and remain professional under pressure.
- Preferred Skills:Experience in [industry — e.g., telecommunications, insurance, SaaS, etc.]
- Multilingual abilities (if applicable)
- Knowledge of sales techniques and call handling best practices
