Hardware & Network Engineer

About the

Role:We are seeking a skilled and proactive Field Service Engineer experienced in IT Infrastructure, Networking, and CCTV Systems to join our technical services team. The ideal candidate will handle onsite installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of surveillance, access control, and IT networking systems across client sites.

Key

Responsibilities:·       Perform installation,

commissioning, and maintenance of CCTV, Networking, and IT systems.

·       Handle structured cabling, network

rack termination, patch panels, and switch configurations.

·       Install and configure IP Cameras,

NVRs/DVRs, and Video Management Systems (VMS).

·       Conduct system testing,

troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis for network and CCTV issues.

·       Perform network setup and

configuration (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, firewalls, access points).

·       Ensure regular preventive

maintenance and timely resolution of client support tickets.

·       Coordinate with the Project Manager

/ Support Desk for timely project delivery and updates.

·       Prepare installation reports,

service call logs, and documentation.

·       Educate end-users on system usage

and basic troubleshooting.

·       Ensure adherence to safety and

quality standards during site execution.

Required

Skills & Competencies:·       Strong understanding of IP

Networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, VLANs, Subnetting, etc.)

·       Hands-on experience with CCTV

systems, IP cameras, NVR/DVR, and VMS software.

·       Basic knowledge of firewalls,

access control, and biometric systems preferred.

·       Familiar with structured cabling

(Cat6, Fiber), crimping, punching, and network testing tools.

·       Ability to troubleshoot hardware,

software, and connectivity issues independently.

·       Good communication, client-handling, and reporting skills.

·       Must be willing to travel across client locations.

Qualification

& Experience:·       Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics,

Electrical, IT, or Computer Science.

·       2–5 years of field experience in IT networking, CCTV, or related domains.

·       Certifications such as CCNA /

CompTIA / Hikvision / CP Plus / Dahua / Cisco / Ubiquiti will be an added advantage.

·       Travel: Required within NCR and nearby project sites.
