Jr. Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage and verify vendor bills, purchase entries, and ensure accurate financial documentation. The ideal candidate will support procurement and finance teams by maintaining records, validating invoices, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities·       

 Verify and process vendor invoices and purchase bills

·        Match invoices with Purchase Orders (POs) and delivery receipts

·        Maintain accurate records of purchase transactions in accounting systems

·        Assist in Banking related work. 

·        Track outstanding payables and follow up with vendors when required

·        Assist in GST compliance, including input credit reconciliation

·        Basic Knowledge of TDS Calculation.

·        Maintain vendor accounts and update (Credit note /Debit Note ) resolve discrepancies

·        Support monthly closing activities and reporting 

·        Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications·       

•  Bachelor's degree in commerce / accounting / finance

·        1–2 years of experience in purchase accounting / accounts payable

·        Good knowledge of GST and invoice processing

·        Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books)

·        Strong attention to detail and accuracy

·        Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications·       

•  Experience in handling high-volume invoice processing

·        Familiarity with ERP systems

·        Basic understanding of vendor management
