Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Collect, label, and process patient samples (blood, urine, etc.) accurately.
- Perform routine laboratory tests as per standard procedures.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Ensure proper sterilization and cleanliness of lab equipment and workspace.
- Record and maintain accurate test results and patient data.
- Assist senior lab staff and doctors in diagnostic procedures.
- Follow all safety, hygiene, and biomedical waste disposal protocols.
- Monitor inventory and inform management about shortages of lab supplies.
- Ensure timely reporting of test results.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT / BMLT).
- Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment handling.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality.
- Prior experience in a diagnostic lab (preferred but not mandatory).
