About AquaveAquave is India’s first marine-based skincare brand, built on SeaBoost™ and a proprietary ecosystem of ocean-powered actives designed to solve India’s biggest skin concerns: pigmentation, tanning, sun damage & hydration.
We are a high-growth beauty startup scaling across Amazon, D2C, Flipkart, and quick commerce.

🔹 Role Overview
The Marketing Manager will lead Aquave’s overall marketing strategy — brand building, digital growth, performance campaigns, content, influencers, product launches, and retention.
You will work directly with the Founder to scale Aquave into India’s #1 marine skincare brand.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
1. Brand & Creative Strategy
- Build and own Aquave’s brand identity, communication pillars, and marine-science storytelling.
- Lead high-quality creative development for campaigns, videos, product launches & social media.
- Ensure brand consistency across D2C, Amazon, Flipkart, Instagram, Packaging & A+ Content.
2. Performance & Growth Marketing
- Plan and optimise performance campaigns across Meta, Google, Amazon Ads.
- Drive ROAS improvement, CAC reduction, and conversion optimisation.
- Work closely with agencies, freelancers, and internal teams to deliver measurable results.
3. Product Marketing
- Lead end-to-end launches of new products (positioning, communication, creatives, rollout plans).
- Develop market insights, competitive analysis, and consumer behavior mapping.
4. Influencer & Community
- Building, identifying, managing, and negotiating with influencers, dermatologists, and content partners.
- Build Aquave’s community through initiatives, user stories, founder videos, and UGC.
5. Content Leadership
- Oversee content calendars for Instagram, YouTube, Amazon, Website & Blogs.
- Create trending, educational, and storytelling-based content around marine science & skincare.
- Support the founder in delivering high-quality “Founder Talkies” content.
6. E-commerce & Marketplace Strategy
- Improve Amazon & Flipkart performance: SEO, A+ pages, ads, pricing, and reviews.
- Drive D2C website CRO, landing pages, funnels & retention using Klaviyo/SMS.
7. Analytics & Reporting
- Maintain dashboards for performance, marketing spends, ROAS, revenue splits, and monthly targets.
- Present insights to leadership with recommendations for growth.
🔹 Requirements
- Must-Have Skills 2–5 years of experience in D2C/Beauty/Skincare/FMCG marketing.
- Strong understanding of Meta Ads, Google Ads, and Amazon Ads.
- Ability to create or guide high-quality video & photo content.
- Knowledge of influencer marketing and social media trends.
- Excellent communication, copywriting, and brand storytelling skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with comfort in numbers and dashboards.
Good-to-Have
- Experience in fast-paced startups or early-stage brands.
- Understanding of skincare ingredients, consumer psychology, and beauty industry trends.
- Prior experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, Amazon Seller Central.
