Mechanical Site Engineer

The Site Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the supervision, coordination, and execution of all mechanical works related to fabrication and erection of structural steel components in railway or highway bridge projects. This includes managing on-site activities, ensuring quality standards, adhering to safety protocols, and coordinating with all relevant stakeholders to meet project timelines and specifications.

Key Skills & Expertise:

• Fabrication & erection of steel bridges and heavy structures.
• Supervise the erection of steel structures using cranes, launching girders, and other heavy lifting equipment.
• Supervise on-site fabrication and erection of structural steel components such as girders, trusses, and box girders.
• Interacting with consultants, contractors, and internal departments (planning, QA/QC, safety).

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience: 2-4 years in site execution of steel bridge fabrication and erection (railway or highway infrastructure projects).
