MIG Welder

A MIG (Metal Inert Gas) Welder uses specialized equipment to join metal parts efficiently using a wire electrode and shielding gas. Key responsibilities include reading blueprints, setting up machines (voltage/wire feed), producing high-quality welds on various metals, and ensuring safety compliance. They also inspect finished products for defects and maintain welding equipment. 

• Welding Operations: Perform MIG welding to join metal components, including filler metals and structural steel, adhering to blueprints and specifications.
• Setup and Maintenance: Set up welding machines, including adjusting gas ratios, voltage, and wire feed speed. Maintain, clean, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished welds for quality, accuracy, and defects to meet technical standards.
• Safety Compliance: Follow strict safety guidelines (PPE) and maintain a clean, organized work area (5S standards).
• Fabrication/Assembly: Measure, cut, and prepare materials for assembly, utilizing tools like grinders, clamps, and fixtures. Betterteam +7
