MIG Welder

Welding & FabricationPerform MIG welding (GMAW) on MS, SS, and aluminum components

• Fabricate EV chassis, frames, battery trays, brackets, and structural parts
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols
• Ensure strong, clean, and defect-free welds
• Follow WPS standards and safety guidelines
• Handle grinding, cutting, and finishing of welded assemblies

Fixture Designing & DevelopmentDesign and develop welding fixtures & jigs for production

• Ensure proper alignment, accuracy, and repeatability of parts
• Modify fixtures to improve cycle time and productivity
• Work with the design/production team to optimize manufacturability
• Support prototype and new product development

Quality & Safety Inspect weld quality and dimensional accuracy

• Perform basic quality checks using gauges/tools
• Maintain welding machines and tools
• Follow 5S and shop-floor safety standards
• Required Skills & QualificationsITI/Diploma in Welding/Fabrication/Mechanical
• 2–5 years experience in MIG welding
• Experience in fixture/jig designing and fabrication
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Knowledge of welding parameters & distortion control
• Hands-on experience with fabrication tools
• Good problem-solving and teamwork skills
• Preferred Skills (Good to Have)Experience in automotive/EV manufacturing
• TIG welding knowledge
• Knowledge of SolidWorks/AutoCAD for fixture concepts
• Understanding of lean manufacturing practices
