Mutual Fund Operations Executive

About the Role

Our Operations team ensures that every clients investment journey is smooth, accurate, and timely. As an Operations Executive, you will play a critical role in supporting Relationship Managers and handling backend processes for client investments.

This role is strictly for candidates with prior exposure to Mutual Fund Operations / RTA Operations (CAMS, KFintech, Karvy, etc.). Please apply only if you meet this requirement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Transaction Processing

• Timely and accurate processing of client transactions (account opening, fund transfers, redemptions, switches, SIP registrations, etc.).

• Maintain error-free entries and transaction records.

• Ensure daily processing within defined TAT (Turnaround Time).

2. Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain 100% accurate and up-to-date client KYC, FATCA, and regulatory documents.

• Ensure all documentation is properly stored and retrievable as per audit requirements.

3. Reporting & MIS

• Prepare and share daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports and portfolio reports on time.

• Maintain accurate records of transactions, client service requests, and pending tasks.

• Provide reliable data to management for decision-making.

• Update and track all running tasks in Cheetah for better monitoring and status visibility.

4. Client Service Support

• Coordinate with Relationship Managers (RMs) to resolve client servicing issues.

• Handle client operational queries (account statements, payouts, document requests, etc.).

• Ensure prompt follow-up and closure of service requests.

5. Coordination & Team Support

• Work closely with internal teams (RMs, CRMs, Admins).

• Coordinate with fund houses, custodians, and other partners for smooth processing.

• Support branch operations and assist in audits as required.

6. Process Improvement

• Identify gaps or inefficiencies in operations workflows.

• Participate in all scheduled Operations training sessions and Outlook sessions.

• Suggest improvements to enhance accuracy and reduce TAT.

• Support implementation of new systems and processes.

• Clear required industry exams for personal and organizational growth.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Graduate (any stream) with strong communication skills and fluency in English.

• Preferred: Knowledge/experience of Mutual Fund Operations or RTA Operations.

• Proficiency in MS Office, Google Sheets, and Emails.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and accurate in handling transactions.
