• Supervise children at all times to ensure their physical safety
• Monitor children during playtime, meals, and rest periods

• Build a warm, trusting relationship with each child
• Help shy or introverted children feel secure and included

Classroom Assistance

• Support the class teacher during activities and lessons
• Help set up and clean up classroom materials and crafts
• Assist children who need extra help with tasks like cutting, pasting, or coloring

Daily Routine Management

• Help children with tiffin/lunch — opening boxes, encouraging eating, maintaining hygiene
• Assist with nap time routines if applicable
• Ensure children wash hands before and after meals

Health & Hygiene

• Change clothes if a child has a spill or accident
• Monitor for signs of illness and inform the teacher or coordinator
• Maintain cleanliness of the classroom and play areas

Communication

• Inform teachers about any behavioral changes or concerns observed
• Coordinate with parents during drop-off and pick-up if needed
• Maintain a gentle, patient tone with both children and parents

Activity Support

• Assist during outdoor play, field trips, or special events
• Participate in songs, storytelling, or group activities alongside the teacher
• Encourage children to participate and stay engaged

General Support

• Maintain discipline in a gentle, age-appropriate manner
• Follow the school's policies, schedules, and child safety protocols
• Support overall smooth functioning of the classroom
