Job Description


A Civil Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, supervising, and completing construction projects within budget, timeline, and quality standards. The role involves coordinating with architects, contractors, engineers, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.


Key Roles & Responsibilities:-


1. Project Planning & Execution


Plan and manage construction projects from start to completion.

Prepare project schedules, timelines, and work plans.

Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and consultants.

Ensure work is executed as per drawings and specifications.


2. Site Management


Supervise daily site activities and workforce.

Ensure proper use of materials, machinery, and labour.

Monitor progress and resolve site-related issues.


3. Quality Control


Ensure construction quality as per industry standards.

Check RCC work, finishing work, plumbing, electrical, etc.

Conduct regular inspections and quality checks.


4. Budget & Cost Control


Prepare project budgets and track expenses.

Control construction costs and prevent wastage of materials.

Coordinate with procurement team for materials and vendors.


5. Contractor & Vendor Coordination


Manage contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Negotiate rates and ensure timely material supply.

Verify contractor bills and work completion.


6. Compliance & Safety


Ensure compliance with local building codes and approvals.

Maintain safety standards at the construction site.

Handle inspections and regulatory requirements.


7. Reporting & Documentation


Maintain daily progress reports.

Track project milestones and deliver updates to stakeholders.

Maintain project documentation and records.
