Quality Inspector

1. Incoming Quality Inspector (IQC):

• Inspect incoming raw material, packaging, and bought-out parts as per standard requirements.
• Verify supplier quality certificates and ensure compliance with Control Plan.
• Conduct dimensional checks using gauges, vernier, micrometer, and other instruments.
• Record and maintain IQC inspection reports, rejection data, and supplier feedback.
• Coordinate with suppliers and purchase team for corrective action in case of rejections.
• Ensure proper traceability and identification of accepted / rejected material.

2. Inprocess Quality Inspector:

• Carry out line inspections during production to ensure process parameters are maintained.
• Conduct patrol inspections and identify process defects at the shopfloor.
• Support production team in first piece approval and process setup verification.
• Monitor defect trends, raise rejection reports, and initiate corrective actions.
• Ensure usage of Control Plan, Work Instructions, and SPC tools where applicable.
• Maintain proper documentation of inprocess inspection reports in ERP.

3. PDI (Final) Quality Inspector:

• Perform Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI) of finished goods before dispatch to customers.
• Check dimensions, visual appearance, functional parameters, and packaging standards.
• Ensure parts meet customer-specific requirements before shipment.
• Prepare PDI reports and maintain inspection records for audit traceability.
• Mark, segregate, and control non-conforming parts as per SOP.
• Support customer audits, third-party inspections, and documentation compliance.
